Saturday or “Caturday” as we call it in our house is a good chance to decompress, spend some time with the kitties, do a little prep and get ready for the week ahead with a new keto recipe. We tend to do a meal we are familiar with that is quick and easy so we have more time to do the fun stuff. If you do the same the “Caturday Recipe” series is for you. No videos, no pop ups, no explanation of the mountain we hiked to pick the lettuce… just a plain ole’ fashioned Keto Energy Bite recipe.

Keto Energy

KETO ENERGY BITES

Ingredients:

¼ cup hemp seeds¼ cup almond slivers
¼ cup pumpkin seeds¼ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup peanut butter1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp vanillaDash pink Himalayan salt
½ tsp sweetener1 Tbsp. almond flour
2 pieces unsweetened chocolate

Directions:

  1. Mix together nuts and seeds with all other ingredients except chocolate.
  2. Taste and adjust for sweetness.
  3. Stir in small shavings of chocolate.
  4. Use tablespoon to form small balls.  Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes until firm.  Keep refrigerated or frozen.

Makes 11 Bites | Per Serving = 1 energy bite ball

Per Serving = 77% fat, 6% carbs, 19% protein
