It’s Time For a Fried Egg Chaffle

Saturday or “Caturday” as we call it in our house is a good chance to decompress, spend some time with the kitties, do a little prep and get ready for the week ahead with a new keto recipe. We tend to do a meal we are familiar with that is quick and easy so we have more time to do the fun stuff. If you do the same the “Caturday Recipe” series is for you. No videos, no pop ups, no explanation of the mountain we hiked to pick the lettuce… just a plain ole’ fashioned Fried Egg Chaffle recipe.

Fried Egg Chaffle

Ingredients:

2 Eggs1 oz. Cheese
4 Tbsp. Mayonnaise4 Chafflewiches

Directions:

  1. Spread 1 Tbsp. of the Mayonnaise on each of the 4 Chafflewich “slices.”
  2. Fry the two eggs in a frying pan with a bit of butter.
  3. Put the hot eggs on two of the Chafflewiches.
  4. Put ½ oz. of cheese on top of each egg.
  5. Top with chafflewiches that have the eggs and cheese with the other two chafflewiches.

Makes 2 fried egg chafflewiches

Per Serving = 82% fat, 2% carbs, 15% protein
